The presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has arrived Kaduna ahead of Tuesday’s flag-off of the party’s presidential campaign in the North-West.
Tinubu, who arrived on board Kanem Air, was received at the Dana Air wing of the Nigerian Air Force Base, by Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai; the governorship candidate, Mal. Uba Sani; Kaduna Speaker Yusuf Zailani and other top government functionaries.
Tinubu arrived Kaduna around 2:30pm with Governors Abdullahi Umar Ganduje (Kano); Abubakar Badaru (Jigawa); Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi) and Simon Lalong (Plateau).
The vice presidential candidate, Senator Kashim Shettima arrived with other dignitaries in another flight.
Tinubu is expected to meet with stakeholders, including the business community, religious and traditional leaders on Monday night.
However, the rally scheduled to take place at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium on Tuesday is expected to be attended by millions of party supporters.
