Nine people have died and six others injured in Adamawa State after a tipper truck lost control and hit them.
The incident happened yesterday morning at Viniklang in Girei local government area, near Yola.
A witness said the victims were mostly roadside traders, adding that angry residents set the tipper on fire.
“The incident happened around the Viniklang Junction on the Yola-Mubi Highway just after the Jimeta Bridge,” the witness said.
